Crafting Excellence, One Piece at a Time

Tailored products for Builders, Craftsmen, and Visionaries.

Our Story

At JM Timber, we have a passion for sustainability and craftsmanship. As a family-owned and operated business with deep ties to our community, we made a commitment to preserving our local natural resources.

Our story began with Jarvis, a dedicated worker in the tree removal industry and a proud Marine veteran, who couldn't bear to see perfectly good timber wasted by being sent to landfills and chippers. Driven by a vision to give these trees a second life, Jarvis took a bold step in late 2018. Armed with a chainsaw and a portable mill, he started transforming discarded trees into beautiful, usable lumber.

As word spread about the quality and craftsmanship of our timber, demand grew quickly. By early 2020, we knew it was time to expand. We upgraded to a band sawmill, enabling us to handle larger projects and meet the needs of our ever-growing customer base. With multiple extensions, we can now cut lumber up to an impressive 36 feet long.

At JM Timber, we take pride in every piece of wood we mill. Each board tells a story of sustainability, hard work, and a dedication to quality. Whether you’re a builder, a craftsman, or a DIY enthusiast, we are here to provide you with the finest timber for your projects.

Join us in our mission to turn what was once considered waste into something beautiful and enduring.
